off bloom release comeback single 'Am I Insane?'

Last weekend CelebMix brought you the news of Danish trio, off bloom’s, first taste of new music in 2019.

Today, Alex, Mads and Mette welcome ‘Am I Insane?’ into the world. The group’s most stripped-back flick to date, the track sees off bloom introduce a new sound as they move on from 2018 hits ‘Love Actually’ and ‘not sorry’.

Detailing a struggle to keep their cool in a modern world, lead-singer Mette battles voices in her head, “Am Insane? My Instagram… stop it, don’t you know that sh*ts a waste of time.” The track comes following the group’s “break from the internet world” towards the back end of 2018 and start of this year.

The effervescent trio, who rose to fame of hits such as ‘Love To Hate It’ and ‘Falcon Eye’ and through the notoriety of their charismatic live sets, have also supported the likes of Dua Lipa and ALMA on the road in the UK. Debuting ‘Am I Insane?’ at Denmark’s Spot Festival Aarhus last afternoon to an intimate riverside crowd, the group play another set at the festival tonight before a show at Lille Fredag in Tivoli on the 16th May.

A group who aren’t afraid to roll out releases quickly, ‘Am I Insane?’ marks the start of what looks to be an exciting year for off bloom. The trio are keeping their plans under wraps for now, but after spending months locked in the studio, fans can start to get excited.
