On tonight’s episode Malik Saunders is in a discount store and is being apprehended by a security officer who is accusing him of shoplifting. Two cops walk in, Stephens and Rouse and tell the security officer they are going to take over. Malik is shouting that the security officer saying that he lied. Malik tries to run the two officers grab him, there is a lot of shouting. Malik’s social worker walks in and identifies herself, she tells them he is on the spectrum and to let her handle this. Malik struggles to get away and Stephens stops him with the taser. Malik manages to make it behind his social worker, who tells the officers that she is a former officer, Rachel Witten. Stephens says he doesn’t care.

Elsewhere, Frank is on the phone with his dad who can’t find his wallet. Abigail walks in and interrupts the call, she tells him that a social worker is accusing two officers from the 2-9 of excessive force at a discount store. Frank guesses that the social worker was Rachel Witten, he is right and Abigail says she has gone to internal affairs.

Erin looks happy, she asks Anthony if he wants to go to lunch, Bobby Gallo wants to meet. She wants Anthony to join but he says no he has too much work. She tells him that she needs him as her best friend, his second set of eyes, she can’t do it without him. He gives in.

Danny gets in the car, he stopped at a donut store and bought one for him and Baez. All of a sudden, their car is hit head on. Both are a little shaken up. A girl gets out of the other car and shouts at Danny and asks him if he is blind. He asks how old she is, she won’t tell and then he smells something. Danny checks the trunk and there is a dead body inside.

Eddie and Jamie are walking into the station when Stephens confronts Eddie and asks her if Rachel is crazy or just a bitch. He goes on to say that she interfered in a call they were making and now she is trying to jam them up. Eddie tells him that Rachel was a great cop, always smart and reasonable. Stephens gets in Eddie’s face and asks if she is defending her, she tells him to take a step back. Just then, Eddie gets a call coming in, it is Rachel and Rouse says the traitors ears must be burning. Stephens tells Eddie that the next time she sees Eddie she will probably accuse of her of sexual assault.

The girl who hit Danny and Baez, her name is Trina and she is 16. She refused a lawyer, doesn’t have a last name according to her, and didn’t have ID or a licence on her.

At lunch, Bobby wants to jump right into business. She tells Erin she can get her where she wants to be in the city. She calls her a winning horse, thats why she didn’t go to lunch with Crawford. She wants her to win and wants her to win, and she hasn’t said that about anybody in a long time. Erin says lets do this and Anthony wants to eat.

A guardian is brought in for Trina, she claims it wasn’t her car and not her victim in the trunk. The guardian tells Danny and Baez that she is also a lawyer for legal aid and she will not have the two of them bully Trina. Trina is going to arraignment and then juvenile hall.

Danny and Baez go to see the women who owns the car. She says she had a doctors appointment and when she went to get in her a car and boy and girl were already in it. When she yelled, the girl made a rude gesture and then sped off.

Frank goes to see Rachel in her office, she looks up. He asks her if she has a minute, she clears a chair for him. He tells her a pretty serious accusation she made. Rachel says she feels it was justified. He wants to know in her own words what happened. Malik put candy in his pocket because he doesn’t like touching things and the security officer thought he was stealing. Frank asks her if there is a possibility that she was overreacting. He tells her that some times it is difficult to make split decisions, maybe she should think about that.

Trina is confronted about the boy who was in the car with her, she says his name is Mikey but she won’t tell Danny and Baez how to find him unless they get her out.

Bobby goes to Erin’s office to see her, she has her agreement and NDA’s, and one request, lose Anthony from her team. She says her one liability in running, is her association to the police. Bobby reminds her that Anthony is a former NYPD with a not so clean record.

Danny and Baez get Trina out and she takes them to a warehouse, where there is no Mikey. Danny is upset, Baez wants him to cut her some slack. Danny gets a call, there is a print on the dead guy’s watch and it belongs to Trina.

Erin goes to speak to Anthony, he tells her that he quits, he has request a transfer, politics are not his thing.

Trina finally tells the truth, she knew the victim and she sent them on a wile goose chase. She says she is afraid of Jayden, he is not like the rest of them, he is older, he takes care of her and other kids. And in return, she does what ever he wants, shoplift, sell drugs. And, if they don’t they will end up in the trunk like that guy. She says she is happy she ran into them because if she had gone back, he would have killed her.

Eddie finds her locker tossed over and broken open. She goes to see Jamie and tells her someone trashed her locker. Just then, Stephens and Rouse walk up, they says they didn’t trash her locker. Stephens tries to punch Jamie in the face.

Erin goes to see Henry and tells him about Anthony.

Frank goes to see Eddie, they talk about Rachel. He asks her if she left the job mad, she says it was just the job. Eddie says there is one thing, when they were partnered they were dealing with an EDP and they spit in her face. The next day she said she was putting in her papers.

Trina watches a surveillance video of the area where Jayden houses the kids, they get him walking out and are able to do face recognition and there are a whole bunch of charges against him.

Frank goes back to see Rachel and tries to see if they can see eye to eye. Frank asks how the boy is, she says find, he is a good kid. Frank asks for a favour, he wants her to be a link to his department in the Be Heard program. She says she will think about it.

Jayden is in custody. Anthony and Bobby join Erin for dinner, she tells Bobby that she has done some digging, and she wants to know abbot the incident that occurred on August 10, 1996. Anthony says he responded to a call of a girl that was assaulted by her boyfriend, that girl was Bobby.

At family dinner, there is an extra seat and nobody knows who it is. The doorbell rings, Eddie gets up to answer it, it is Rachel, she and Eddie hug. Eddie thanks Frank for making this happen.
